Hands Off Tahoe 26!

This week’s tip is both a follow-up to last week’s and a quick but important warning: if your Mac offers to “upgrade” to the brand-new MacOS Tahoe 26 - don’t do it. Not yet. Just. Don’t.

Most of you know I’m an Apple-first user, but not right now. This upgrade is packed with glitches and head-scratching changes. My favorite (if you can call it that): Spotlight, the little magnifying glass you use to find files, now by default only functions if your iPhone is nearby, unlocked, and connected. Seriously? It’s called Spotlight, not Stoplight!
That’s just one example, but trust me, Tahoe 26 will make you crazy. Security updates? Yes, always! Big upgrades like this one? Wait until Apple fixes the mess.
I’ll keep an eye on it and let you know when it’s safe to move forward. For now, hands off that upgrade button!
