💾 Feeling Sluggish? Try a Little Cache-ercise

Ever notice your web browser starting to feel… slower than usual? It might just need a little memory refresh. Every browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge, etc.) keeps a cache: a storage area where it saves bits of websites to load them faster next time.
Over time, that cache can fill up with old data. The result? Pages that don’t load correctly, missing pictures, or that “spinning beachball” we all love so much. Clearing your cache is like tidying your desk, it helps everything run smoother.
Here are a couple of easy examples:
On a Mac using Safari: Open Safari, then from the top menu in the upper left of your screen, choose Safari → Clear History. In the box that appears, pick All history (or a shorter range if you prefer), and click Clear History. (This clears your browsing history and cache but keeps your passwords and bookmarks.)
In Google Chrome: Click the three dots in the upper-right corner → Settings → Privacy and Security → Delete browsing data, then check only “Cached images and files” and click Clear data.
Your computer also keeps other kinds of temporary files behind the scenes, but the browser cache is the one that most often needs a quick cleanup.
If you have questions or would like me to perform a more thorough “deep cleanse” of your entire system, just reach out; your computer will appreciate it.
